Brivas Iris Cash Point Access (BCPA)

Brivas Iris Cash Point Access allows access to ATMs through iris recognition substituting the PIN or even the cash card.

The system comprises a camera set into the ATM, by which the clients will access their accounts by simply looking for a few seconds, and software for iris identification.

The client only has to be registered in the system in the closest branch. The procedure will only last a few minutes, and once registered in the system, the user will not have to carry a cash card nor remember passwords; simply with a glance at the camera he will access his account in 2-3 seconds.

If the financial entity so wishes, the memorizing of the PIN can also be substituted by iris recognition. This way, the client, on inserting his card in the ATM, only has to look at the camera and check that he is the person he says is he, without needing to key in any code.

This notably increases ATM security. Now the devices that thieves install in ATMs that ‘trap’ cards and use a camera to read the pin code introduced will be of no use.

It also solves the problem of the ATM ‘swallowing’ cards or passbooks and being unable to carry out banking transactions until it is returned or a copy is made for us, as well as incorrectly keying in the PIN three times.
