Brivas Face Detection Security (BFDS)
The Brivas Face Detection Security system allows the locking of a user’s computer when he is not at his work station. This is carried out by software that uses facial detection in a way that when the application cannot detect the user’s face the computer is locked.
The system is composed of a video device that continually focuses on the user so that when he is having a break, is away from his work station or he has to leave it, the computer is automatically locked and thus avoiding that an unauthorized person has access to his computer (documents, mail, reports, etc).
On arriving at his work station, he only has to introduce the session password and this will return the session to the same point at which the computer was blocked. That means that no document or application has had to been closed, everything remaining just as he left it when he left the work station.
The time period before locking the computer is totally configurable, allowing the user to change this parameter when he wants.
This is carried out by software that uses facial detection in a way that when the application cannot detect the user’s face, the computer is locked.
This system can be combined with other security systems such as BIS (Brivas Iris Security) so that on locking the computer, accessing it once again will be by iris identification, so we can avoid remembering code words and possible cracking of the code.
