RFID

RFID, Radio Frequency Identification is a technology that allows us to identify objects through radio waves, as well as for locating people.

To do this the objects are marked with tags, (the “tag” is a chip that contains a series of data, serial number, unique number, type of product etc.) that emit via radio, its information up to a certain distance. This data can be picked up by a fixed or mobile reader.

Unlike barcode readers, the RFID reader can pick up data from various tags at the same time and without having them in the line of sight.
